furtiv beta for Share Online
We’ve made public a beta solution that showcases the integration of popular social media services in Nokia Symbian devices. furtiv beta for Share Online allows you to upload directly from the Camera and Gallery in your device to your service of choice. There is no gateway service/account in between. There is also no app to install. You just have to get settings to configure your phone to use our solution.
This solution works with 30 different Nokia device models and allows you to share geotagged photos and videos on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and PicasaWeb. In a commercially deployed solution you would get your settings directly from your operator, so they would most likely be already on your phone the first time you try to share a photo. For the purposes of this beta, you have to go and manually get the settings for your phone. More info and instructions on our beta page. You can also check out some screenshots here. If you are reading this on your phone, you can go directly to get your settings by pointing your mobile browser to http://furtiv.mobi.
We specially want to encourage you to try out how Twitter is integrated in our solution. In addition to uploading photos and videos, we have made available feeds of your Twitter timeline, mentions and direct messages so you can get notifications directly in the home screen of your device.
We have made this solution available for demonstration and testing purposes. We’d like to get your comments and feedback. If you are a service provider or mobile operator, we’d love to know if you find this solution useful or interesting. Please drop us a few lines at feedback @ furtiv.com or a few characters at twitter.com/furtiv.

I have the N95 8GB, I have the share online version 2.07.37 but when I try to activate Facebook it just says retrieving services. I can’t activate the service or upload photos.
@Nick N95 8GB requires Share Online 3 or higher to work with this beta. Your options are:
a)Update your device firmware to the latest version using the Nokia Software Updater http://bit.ly/X6qkW OR
b)Install Share Online 3 on your phone http://bit.ly/yZ7bQ
Please contact us on help(at)furtiv.com if you need any further help.
hi, i have the same problem as Nick, when trying to configure Facebook it just says retrieving services and nothing else, i have the latest firm version (just updated an hour ago), and share online 3.1, what should i do???
thanks a lot!
@juan try deleting some unused access points in your Internet destination (under Tools -> Settings -> Connectivity). Share Online gets confused is you have too many.
Same problem. I removed all but 3 access points, is that still too much?
hi, thanx i can upload photo to my facebook very easy….but why i cant upload video to facebook???
it said something like ‘unsupported’ but ofcourse supported…!
video =.mp4
Hp = n95 8gb with share online 3.0.08.19
thx
@samuel you get that error when videos are larger than 50MB. Right now we only support videos that are smaller than 50 MB. Try sending a smaller video or splitting your video in half before uploading.
